Texas Rangers vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Best Bet: Will There Be Fireworks in Texas?

The second total we are diving into tonight is a clash between two of my favorite teams in the league to watch and wager on, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Texas Rangers. Arguably a representative for the best teams from the National League and American League clash tonight at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. I expect the offenses to get after it.

Texas Rangers vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction

Normally, I would blindly wager on the Texas Rangers any time I can justify a solid price, and I still might this evening; with that said, this matchup is just too strong to ignore the plethora of ways the total can cash for us tonight. These are two of the most talented lineups in baseball, with superstars all across the lineup. Texas leads the league in run differential at +166 and a stellar +101 at home; Los Angeles counters with a run differential of +99, fourth best in the league.

Los Angeles has played fewer games this season at 55-40 in contrast to Texas' 58-39, but both are nonetheless having spectacular seasons so far. I like Tony Gonsolin a lot, but he is sitting closer to that four spots on the ERA through a good sample size of work this season, and I see no reason Texas struggles to tag him for some runs tonight. On that same net, Heaney has been strong for Texas but is the weakest link in that rotation, and with a 4.43 ERA and split 6-6 record, and I think Los Angeles gets to the Southpaw.
