It's time for another week of strikeout props.
The hitters seem to have a little more pop than earlier in the season. That could be the summer weather talking, or it could be new baseballs.
I'll probably go with the first option if I had to make a guess.
Does this mean we should take Unders with our strikeout props moving forward? Here are three strikeout props that I like heading into today's slate.

Bryce Elder might be an All-Star, but he's not a flame thrower.
He's struck out just 9.8% of batters in the last month. That's 9.8% of strikeouts against his previous 92 batters.
The Brewers aren't the most impressive offense. But they'll have at least five batters in the lineup that have struck out 22.4% of the time or less against righties in the last month.
Elder has struck out 18.5% of batters throughout the season, which still isn't good. But over the last 30 days, it's apparent that he won't be a high strikeout thrower moving forward.

I like Lucas Giolito to bounce back after his last start. Giolito has struck out 27.3% of batters in the previous 30 days. He's also struck out 33.3% of lefties in the last month.
He'll face a Twins lineup with a balanced lineup of righties and lefties. But those batters have combined to strike out 28.3% of the time against righties in the last month.
Only Carlos Correa has struck out less than 22.5% of the time against righties in the last month. Instead, the Twins have four batters striking out at least 29.4% of the time against righties.
Giolito has plenty of targets and should get back on track in today's game.

Tyler Anderson has never been a high-strikeout guy. But over the last month, his strikeouts are trending up.
He's struck out 26.8% of batters over the last month, despite only striking out 18.5% of batters on the season.
Anderson will face a Pirates lineup that has hit a .051 ISO and wOBA of .249 against lefties over the last month. This same lineup has struck out nearly 39% of the time against lefties.
That's an absurd rate. Every four batters out of ten have struck out against lefties in the last month. If Anderson faces just 20 batters, he'd have eight strikeouts with that rate.
