This is a lot of juice, and there's no denying that. With that being said, this number should not even be available. Allow me to get into why that is.

Washington Nationals vs. Colorado Rockies Prediction

Patrick Corbin is likely on the mound for the Washington Nationals. He has allowed 2+ earned runs in 18 out of 20 games this year. There are no props for him yet because he is the “probable starter,” but I would imagine his outs line will be 17.5 and his earned runs line a 2.5, giving this bet value.

Only needing two runs through five innings feels like great value, no matter who Washington could put out there. The Colorado Rockies are far from elite, but it’s not like they’re the Oakland Athletics or the Kansas City Royal level of incompetent. I trust the boys to get us two runs and get us back on track.

The Rockies batters are 29-79 against Corbin, which is good for a .367 batting average. Last year Corbin allowed five runs and three runs against very similar Rockies lineups in his two starts against them. If, for whatever reason, he doesn’t pitch, I will let everyone know if I still like the bet against whoever replaces him, but I wanna lock this in early before it moves to 2.5. Let's roll!
