Well, the Toronto Blue Jays were able to steal the first game of this interleague series on the road with some late-game heroics last night, but the Los Angeles Dodgers are poised to bounce back here tonight. The Dodgers have dropped three of their last five games now despite scoring 42 runs across those games; look for the bats to stay hot in a win tonight.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prediction

The Blue Jays have actually had some success in the past against Julio Urias, slashing .280/.390/.518 against him, and with an ERA north of five this year, there is a good chance they tag him for some runs tonight. With that said, he was one of the league's most dominant arms last season and still is sporting a 2.15 ERA at home, so I expect him to keep things in hand. The former Oakland Athletic Chris Bassitt has the ball for the Blue Jays tonight, and he is sporting a 5.81 ERA on the road this season, so he should be very gettable for a hungry Dodgers offense.

Los Angeles has been one of the best squads in the league, per usual, so far this season, and they rarely go on losing streaks. Considering they have dropped their last two games already and are on the verge of dropping this series with a loss tonight, I think they show up. The Dodgers rank fourth best in the league for run differential, have a top-five team OPS in the league, and are consistently causing other pitching staffs trouble. Los Angeles is 29-17 at home this season. Look for them to tie up the series with a win tonight.
