There isn’t a single Reds player on the roster with more than ten at-bats and a batting average above .160 against Corbin Burnes. The 28-year-old righty dominates the Reds, and so do the Brewers: Milwaukee has won the last five games against Cincinnati, with a 9-2 record overall against their division rival this season. The Brewers own the Reds, and that isn’t going to change with a rookie on the mound for Cincinnati.
Corbin Burnes isn’t the only starting pitcher tonight who’s looked great recently. Andrew Abbott has become the ace of this young Reds team and is coming off his best career start.
