Baltimore Orioles vs. New York Yankees Prediction
The script has been flipped; Baltimore is tied for first place in the AL East, with the Tampa Bay Rays holding a share of the second-best record in all of baseball as well, 62-40. The New York Yankees are just eight games behind The Rays record-wise at 54-48; however, they are sitting dead last in the division.
Yeah, the American League East has five teams with winning records.
Tonight two of them clash in what I expect will be an exciting game. These two squads have met ten times thus far on the season and have split the affairs at an even five a piece. Tonight, both squads send a pitcher with a winning record out to the mound, although I do not expect either to have the easiest night.
Gerrit Cole has been Gerrit Cole lately; he is 9-2 with a sub-three ERA and nasty stuff, enough said. The last time he faced Baltimore. However, he conceded five earned quickly, and facing a red-hot Baltimore squad at home with the wind blowing out is not an easy task.
Grayson Rodriguez has been an over machine lately. With an ERA just shy of seven, I expect New York to score some runs tonight, especially with Aaron Judge potentially returning. I love Baltimore to cash a low team total tonight, but I find it hard to believe runs don't come in general. I love this over tonight.
