Fading Gerrit Cole isn’t my favorite, but this makes so much sense. Cole has allowed 2+ runs against the Baltimore Orioles in the first five innings in his last three outings against them. Of those three, one was this year where he allowed five runs through five innings.
Baltimore is a fun team to bet on who usually respects our cash. As a team, Baltimore hits .284 against Cole, which bodes really well for us. Baltimore has scored 2+ runs in the first five innings in 15 of their last 20 outings.
Cole’s earned runs prop is 2.5, and he’s projected to go six innings or so; this means this prop has value in comparison to that one.
