The first play we are getting into on the diamond tonight is a basic moneyline parlay between two squads I really like to go out and do a job here on Monday Night.

Milwaukee is coming off an embarrassing sweep this weekend by the big bad Braves in Atlanta and now are looking to bounce back on this road trip with a victory in the first game of this new series with the Cincinnati Reds tonight. Corbin Burnes is not having a season on par with that of his 2021 Cy Young award-winning campaign and his ERA is actually higher this season than his career average is but he is still having a fine season.
This guy is not having a crazy dominant season but his floor has gotten much higher; even average Corbin Burnes is lethal. The expected slash line against these hitters for him tonight sits around .171/.169/.216. Milwaukee now trails Cincinnati by a game in the National League Central and is looking to get back on top this week in an advantageous matchup with Washington.
The second leg of our parlay comes from the other side of the league as the Houston Astros host Cleveland in the opening game of this edition of the season series. Both squads are having fine seasons and Houston is just six games above Cleveland win-wise; both squads are looking to push for the playoffs and should have their chances. With that said, I love this spot for Houston at home tonight. J.P. France has been nails for Houston sporting a 6-3 record to go along with a sub-three ERA at 2.87. Noah Syndergaard is making his first start for Cleveland and does that on the road tonight against a talented Houston squad sporting a 1-4 record and 7.16 ERA thus far in 2023.
