I see this for -129 on lesser-known books, so be sure to shop around, but we’re placing this one on DraftKings. The last time we trusted George Kirby not to allow 7+ hits, he allowed exactly seven. Now we fade him and hope he continues throwing cookies down the plate.

Kirby was an All-Star for a reason, but he does struggle with left-handed hitting, and Boston has plenty of that with Rafael Devers, Masataka Yoshida, Triston Casas, Jarren Duran, and Alex Verdugo. These Boston bats hit .312 against Kirby and should get to him today a little bit.
We don’t need just need the bats, though; we definitely need the pitching today. Nick Pivetta has been sneaky elite the past two months, and nobody is talking about it. In the month of July, he holds a 1.29 ERA over the course of 21 innings pitched. In the month of June, he had a 2.53 ERA as well.
