August 4 Best MLB Home Run Props
Kyle Tucker to Hit a Home Run (+400) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
The Astros have two lefties in their lineup. It's Kyle Tucker and Yordan Alvarez.
Tonight, Houston will take on Luis Severino, who has allowed a .392 ISO and wOBA of .596 to his last 54 lefties.
Alvarez has weak odds of +255. But Tucker, who hit a home run last night, has +400 odds. We'll ride with Tucker in this spot. He's hit a .222 ISO and wOBA of .403 against his last 63 lefties and is already coming off a home run yesterday.
Tucker has also hit over 27% of fly balls and line drives over the last month against righties and has hit nearly 48% of hard contact. He's our guy in this Yankees-Astros matchup.
Jose Ramirez to Hit a Home Run (+430) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
Jose Ramirez will bat from the left side tonight against Mike Clevinger. Clevinger has only struck out 15.4% of lefties over the last month and has given up a .220 ISO and wOBA of .326 to 136 lefties this year.
Meanwhile, Jose Ramirez has hit a .288 ISO and wOBA of .409 against his last 67 righties. He's also struck out only 10.4% of the time against lefties and has smacked nearly 27% of line drives and fly balls against righties over the last month.
Clevinger rarely earns ground balls and allows more fly balls than anything else. With Ramirez hitting 65.4% of hard contact against righties in the last month, you can expect some line-drive, hard contact from Ramirez against Clevinger tonight.
Triston Casas to Hit a Home Run (+390) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
No, Alek Manoah isn't back.
He's allowed a .265 ISO and wOBA of .349 to his last 42 lefties and has allowed more fly balls than ground balls induced over the previous month to lefties.
Manoah has allowed 88% of hard contact against lefties over the last month.
He'll face a lot of dangerous lefties in the Red Sox lineup. But there's nobody more dangerous than Triston Casas right now. Casas has slugged a .453 ISO and wOBA of .561 against his last 64 righties. He's also hit 40% of fly balls and line drives against righties in the previous month while hitting over 52% of hard contact.
Take Casas to go deep tonight.
