Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Friday

Shohei Ohtani's hand cramps hurt our chances at a profit yesterday with our strikeout props.

Let's try to get back on track with tonight's strikeout props. I've added three more to the betting portfolio tonight.

August 4 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Luis Severino Under 5.5 Ks (-158) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Luis Severino has only thrown 88.75 pitches per start over the last month. He's also allowed a .301 ISO and wOBA of .495 to his previous 88 batters faced.

Severino has performed at a meager rate over the last month. He hasn't allowed many walks, but he's also struck out only 18.2% of batters.

Meanwhile, the Astros have only two players striking out more than 22.2% of the time against righties. Houston rarely strikes out against righties. Take Severino to go Under 5.5 Ks.

Logan Allen Over 5.5 Ks (+100) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Logan Allen has struck out 25% of righties over the last month and 23% of righties throughout the season.

The left-hander will take on nine righties in tonight's Chicago White Sox lineup. The White Sox's projected lineup has struck out 30% of the time against lefties. They've got five batters striking out at least 30.8% of the time against lefties.

Allen has earned 22.5% of whiffs against righties and has limited walks to 6.7% against righties. He might give up a run or two. But those strikeouts will pile up throughout his outing. After all, the White Sox have hit a .094 ISO and wOBA of .256 with their projected lineup against lefties over the last month.

Quinn Priester Under 3.5 Ks (+124) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Quinn Priester has the stuff to earn high strikeouts. But it's not translating in the MLB right now.

He's struck out 17.8% of batters over the last month and has walked over 15%. He's also allowed a .311 ISO and wOBA of .412, averaging 82 pitches per start this season.

He'll face a Brewers lineup that has struck out only 18.9% of the time against righties over the last month. The Brewers have just two batters striking out more than 19.7% of the time against righties.

Priester isn't getting many whiffs or swinging strikes and won't fool Milwaukee tonight, either.
