(ATL) Ozzie Albies to Record a Hit

The first leg of the hit parlay is Ozzie Albies. Albies has played extremely well versus the Chicago Cubs in his career, especially at Wrigley Field. He is hitting .412 against the Cubs with 2+ hits in four of the last six matchups. He will see Kyle Hendricks, who he has had tons of success against. He is five for his last eight against Hendricks with three doubles, and I’m expecting the same type of success again today. Below I have listed a few more reasons I am backing Albies today.

• 1+ hit in nine of the last ten games at Wrigley Field
• 1+ hit in 25 of the last 29 games with 5+ plate appearances

(CIN) Matt McLain to Record a Hit

The next leg of the parlay is Matt McLain. McLain is a guy that I usually look at when facing lefties, and that's exactly what he will see today. He will match up with Washington Nationals lefty Patrick Corbin, who he is 1 for 3 against in his career. Corbin ranks in the bottom one percentile in expected batting average allowed, which is great news for McLain and the Cincinnati Reds. Below are more reasons I like McLain’s matchup today.

• 1+ hit in six of the last seven games
• 2+ hits in four of the last seven home games
• .385 AVG at home versus left-handed pitching
• Corbin .313 AVG allowed to right-handed batters

(TB) Wander Franco to Record a Hit

I also like Wander Franco today. Franco is starting to heat up again, recording a hit in six straight games. Reese Olson is on the mound for the Detroit Tigers, and he has been more prone to base hits versus left-handed batters this season which is where Franco will be batting against him today. He has allowed 21 hits over his last three starts, and I expect plenty more again today from Franco and the Tampa Bay Rays. I think he sees 5+ plate appearances which gives us a great chance for one hit. Below are more reasons that support a Franco hit today.

I like Jarren Duran tonight against Alek Manoah. Manoah has started to find his footing again after a rocky start to the season, but I think he may have some struggles again today, especially against Jarren Duran. Duran is 2 for his last 4 versus Manoah with a double and has played extremely well versus the Toronto Blue Jays recently, going for a hit in 11 of the last 12 matchups with at least two plate appearances. Below are a few more reasons I like Duran today.

(LAD) Freddie Freeman to Record a Hit

The last leg of my parlay is Freddie Freeman to record a hit. Freeman is one of the hottest hitters in baseball right now. He is coming off three straight games of three or more hits and is hitting .714 in August. He has hit very well on the road this season against right-handed pitching with an AVG of .345. I expect Freddie to stay hot and get us one hit. Below are a few more reasons I am taking him in the parlay.
