We need five runs here in the first five innings, and I really dig this one. Everyone is fading Luis Severino today, and we will have exposure to that as well but also fade Hunter Brown. I think it’s a nice pivot to what most are taking.
New York Yankees vs. Houston Astros Prediction
Severino has been awful, and he has allowed 29 runs over his last 21.2 innings pitched. He doesn’t get a break today as he faces a Houston team that is finally healthy again and has done damage against him in the past. I expect Houston to score 2-3 runs here for us at the minimum.
Fading Brown here, too, is a good call. He has also been brutal as of late. Brown has allowed 16 runs over his last 24 innings which is not great. With Aaron Judge back in the lineup, I can see the Yankees putting up some runs against the young kid, and I expect at least 2+ from them with the upside for more.
This game will have some nice winds blowing out that should help us with home runs; asking for five runs does not feel that out of the question. Let's stay hot and win this one. Let's roll.
