Best MLB Home Run Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Sunday

Let's finish the weekend strong!

Here are three home run props you should add to your betting portfolio for today's slate of games.

August 6 Best MLB Home Run Props

Christian Walker to Hit a Home Run (+430) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

I'm not buying the Dallas Keuchel hype. He was dominant in Triple-A and got another opportunity to pitch in the MLB.

But until I see success out of Keuchel in the MLB, I'm not bothering.

Keuchel allowed a .248 ISO and wOBA of .426 against 242 righties last year. He also struck out just 16.1% of righties.

Meanwhile, Christian Walker has slugged a .333 ISO and wOBA of .422 against his last 17 lefties. He's been hitting many line drives and fly balls and rarely hits ground balls against lefties.

Let's take Walker to hit a homer today.

Zack Gelof to Hit a Home Run (+750) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

I'll take a gamble with Zack Gelof.

Gelof has hit a .438 ISO and wOBA of .441 against his last 53 righties.

Today, he'll face a right-hander in Alex Cobb, who has allowed a .333 ISO and wOBA of .407 against his last 33 righties.

Cobb has also allowed a .172 ISO and wOBA of .314 to 225 righties this season. It's a legitimate trend. He's worse against righties.

Let's back, Gelof, to hit a long ball at +750. There's value here.

Mike Moustakas to Hit a Home Run (+400) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Moustakas has hit a .290 ISO and wOBA of .417 against his last 65 righties. He's also struck out only 15.4% of the time against righties in that span.

He'll face Bryce Miller of the Mariners, who has allowed a .429 ISO and wOBA of .461 against his last 53 lefties.

Miller has allowed 45% of fly balls and has induced only 22.5% of grounders. He also struck out under 19% of lefties last month.

You can take Shohei Ohtani at +235 if you'd like. Those odds are just super low at this point. But any left-hander in the Los Angeles lineup can go yard tonight.
