This is as chalky as it gets, but I still like it. Spencer Strider is an animal on the mound, and he faces a Pittsburgh Pirates team that shouldn’t be able to touch him today.

The Atlanta Braves lost the last two games, and I don’t expect them to drop three in a row. Strider will be the guy who puts them back in the win column. Strider is a better pitcher on the road with a 2.93 ERA, and he pitches at beautiful PNC Park today. Pittsburgh hits just .231 against righties on the year.
On the mound for Pittsburgh is Osvaldo Bido; he doesn’t typically go late into games and holds a 5.18 ERA. His home ERA is 8.40! This guy could get absolutely shelled by this dangerous Braves offense, and that could be huge for Strider recording the win.
