Well, these squads both head into this matchup in excellent form, and although it may have been surprising a year ago to hear who has the better record between these two squads, they have proved they earned it by this point in the season. The Baltimore Orioles are tied for the most wins in baseball with 70, and they host the visiting 65-49 Houston Astros in this cross-division American League clash.

Framber Valdez has been having a strong season with a 3.07 ERA to go along with a 9-7 record, but he has really been in excellent form as of late. We cashed on the Astros money line last week in Frambers last start, and while he has been throwing the ball well, I do expect some regression here tonight.
Valdez will still be tough to beat, do not get me wrong, but it is always hard to follow up a no-hitter without some blemishes, and the Orioles are one of the best squads in the league against left-handed pitching. They are 35-21 at Camden Yards this season and 8-2 across their last ten overall; I expect them to play well tonight.
On the flip side, Houston seems to be slowly getting into postseason form, and we will see how close they are getting firsthand tonight. Baltimore is a legit contender this season, there is a chance Houston plays them down the road, and they tend to always play those opponents well. Grayson Rodriguez has struggled the most out of the guys in Baltimore's rotation, and I expect both sides to produce tonight.
