Well, these matchups are just a great spot for one squad and a bad one for another, no other way of saying it.

Leg 1: Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
The Los Angeles Dodgers are red hot, having won seven of their last ten games, averaging a little over eight runs a game while doing so. The Arizona Diamondbacks have taken the last there games of the season series, so I love this vengeance spot tonight.
Arizona is spiraling at 2-8 across their last ten and just one game away from falling back to an even .500 record on the season. Julio Urias has been strong against the Diamondbacks in his career sporting a .202/.245/.456 slash line against current Arizona hitters on a decent sample size. Brandon Pfaadr has the ball for Arizona, and he enters winless on the season at 0-5 with a 7.11 ERA.
Leg 2: Oakland Athletics vs. Texas Rangers
I love this spot for Mad Max Scherzer and really think it can just jump-start his season. The 39-year-old is obviously not in his prime anymore, but the three-time Cy Young award winner can still shove, and I know he will. When the Dodgers acquired him for their run just two seasons ago, he was electrified and threw the ball like he was five years younger.
Tonight, he has an excellent spot against baseball's worst squad in the Oakland Athletics, and although they are on the road, Oakland is the one place in the league where it is genuinely a non-factor. J.P. Sears has a decent 4.08 ERA but is sporting a 2-8 record on the season and does not have a great matchup tonight against a potent Texas lineup.
