Well, we have an interesting Thursday slate here with just eight games being played today, and half of them are already underway with early start time but we are going to dive into the rest of the slate right now. The Washington Nationals are in Philadelphia for the final game of this four-game series and the best part of it all?

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Washington Nationals Best Bet

Corbin has seen this Phillies lineup many times and with 128 at-bats against, we have more than a strong enough sample size to go off of. They have racked up a. whopping 44 hits with more than a third of those going for extra bases while putting up an impressive slash line of .344/.416/.574. Philly has already put up nineteen runs in three games this series and has just been swinging the sticks so unbelievably well at home lately, I see no reason as to why they stop swinging well in the final game of the series tonight.

Despite Washington clearly not being contenders from day one, they have still put together a tolerable season. Washington is 50-65 but only performing a tad bit worse than some big organizations who spent some money this offseason trying to contend that laid duds.

I do not expect some incredible push but we should still see competitive play with guys fighting for roster spots for next season and contracts in the future. Despite Aaron Nola throwing historically well against them, I still think they contribute tonight.
