Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Friday

We fell one strikeout from James Paxton short of a profitable night with our strikeout props.

We can't dwell on it! Let's get right back at it! Here are three more strikeout props for tonight's slate in the MLB.

August 11 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Adam Wainwright Under 3.5 Ks (-142) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Adam Wainwright has struck out 16.7% of batters since returning to the mound for the Cardinals. However, he's only struck out 12.2% of batters throughout the season.

Wainwright will take on a Royals lineup that has struck out just 16.1% of the time against righties in the last month.

The Royals have seven batters striking out 18.2% of the time or less against righties. Wainwright won't have many strikeout targets tonight.

Justin Verlander Over 6.5 Ks (-128) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Justin Verlander is definitely more comfortable on the mound now that he's back with Houston. He's only struck out 22.4% of batters over the last month, but that percentage is already above his season average of 20.4%. Verlander will take on a Los Angeles lineup that has struck out 26% of the time against righties over the last month. The veteran righty has eight targets in the Angels' lineup, with each of the eight players striking out at least 22.8% of the time against righties. I'll take my chances with Verlander.

Corbin Burnes Over 6.5 Ks (-132) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

The Chicago White Sox are a dumpster fire. The projected lineup has six batters striking out at least 25% of the time against righties over the last month. They'll face Corbin Burnes of the Brewers, who has struck out 31.7% of batters in the last month. He'll likely face a balanced lineup of righties and lefties. But with Chicago hitting a .138 ISO and only walking 6% of the time against righties over the last month, Burnes figures to throw a quality start with at least seven strikeouts.
