Well, we have a loaded slate here on the diamond this Friday, and it is a glorious one. It is not one of those days where I am looking to wager on every single game, but it is one of those days where I have a handful of bets I really am amped up about. There are some very advantageous matchups for us to take advantage of this evening, and I am looking for us to do exactly that, so without further ado, let's dive into the slate. The first play I want to dive into this evening is my favorite moneyline parlay of the night.

Leg 1: Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels
The Los Angeles Angeles are in Texas tonight for an American League clash with the Houston Astros, and I love this pitching advantage for the Astros. Justin Verlander was not having a typical Cy Young-level season in New York, but we all know this veteran ace still has his stuff, and so far, in his limited time back in an Astros uniform, he has shown that. Historically, Verlander has been excellent in his career against this Angels lineup on a very substantial sample size. In 160 at-bats against, Verlander has struck out 45 while surrendering just 27 hits and two walks. They are slashing a weak .169/.183/.280 against him, and I will back those numbers with this team's offensive capabilities all day long.
Leg 2: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies
The second leg of this one tonight takes us to the late slate of games, with the Colorado Rockies visiting the Los Angeles Dodgers. Lance Lynn has the ball for the Dodgers, and as I said in my last article, I simply love this fit for him. Lynn has gotten better as his career has progressed, and while he may no longer be in his prime, a spot in a rotation with run support like this is perfect for him. Lynn is a strike thrower who can go do a job, and I expect the Dodgers to stay strong at home tonight.
