Atlanta Braves vs. New York Yankees Same-Game Parlay
Leg 1 and 2: Ronald Acuna Jr. To Record a Hit and a Run
I‘m taking Ronald Acuna Jr. to get us one hit and one run in today’s game versus the Yankees. Acuna comes into this game with seven hits and six runs over his last three games. He is hitting .345 against right-handed pitching and .342 in home games this season. Acuna has played extremely well on Wednesday games this season, with a hit in 16 of the last 18 games, a run in seven of the last eight games, and is hitting .392 overall in them. Randy Vasquez is getting the start tonight, and Acuna has great numbers versus his pitch mix, which is why I like him for a hit and a run.
Leg 3: Michael Harris II to Record a Hit
I also like Michael Harris II to get us one hit today. Harris has a hit in nine of the last 11 games and in 22 of the last 25 home games. He is hitting .320 at home and .306 versus right-handed pitching this season, and I don’t see any reason why he can’t add to that streak against Randy Vasquez and the Yankees. Vasquez likes to throw his 4-seam fastball and cutter as his top two pitches to lefties, and Harris owns .343 and .300 AVGs to these two pitches.
Leg 4: Matt Olson to Record an RBI
The last piece of the parlay is Matt Olson to get us one RBI. I like the correlation on this leg. If Olson gets us an RBI, it is likely that he will have hit in Acuna or Harris, who are likely to have gotten on base with a hit. Olson has an RBI in seven of the last nine home games and is hitting .444 with a .619 ISO at home since June 28th. He has a hit in 13 of the last 14 games and has a .333 AVG and .469 ISO with runners in scoring position. If we get some runners on in front of him, I really like our chances on this leg. If not, I think he is in a great spot for a home run, so he might just do it himself.
