MLB Same-Game Parlay Picks Today: Tigers vs. Guardians, Mets vs. Cardinals

It's a weak day in the MLB. There are only six games on the entire slate. But at least we'll have games throughout the day, including 2:10, 4:05, 7:15, and 10:10 ET start times for different games.

FOX will carry the Tigers-Guardians or Mets-Cardinals matchups, depending on your location. Therefore, I'll assemble multiple same-game parlays for those nationally televised games.

  • Riley Greene Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115)
  • Spencer Torkelson Over 1.5 Total Bases (-120)
  • Kerry Carpenter Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)

Let's acknowledge the three significant bats in the Tigers' lineup.

Riley Greene, Spencer Torkelson, and Kerry Carpenter have held their own in this Detroit lineup, especially against right-handed arms.

Xzavion Curry will take the hill for the Guardians tonight. He's allowed a .243 ISO and wOBA of .345 to his last 79 batters faced. Lefties have slugged a .200 ISO and wOBA of .369 over the previous month, while righties have hit a .267 ISO and wOBA of .330.

Greene has smashed a .257 ISO and wOBA of .394 against his last 73 righties. Meanwhile, as a right-handed bat, Torkelson has slugged a .254 ISO and wOBA of .358 against his last 75 righties.

Finally, Kerry Carpenter has slugged a .182 ISO and woBA of .379 against his last 71 righties. All three of these bats have been on fire against right-handed bats over the last month. Curry has been the opposite of good for Cleveland. Let's stack the three big bats in the Tigers' lineup tonight.

Mets vs. Cardinals Same-Game Parlay

3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+461) (Bet $100 to collect $561) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

  • Brandon Nimmo Over 1.5 Total Bases (-130)
  • Pete Alonso Over 1.5 Total Bases (-120)
  • Francisco Lindor Over 1.5 Total Bases (-140)

The Mets are clicking offensively lately. They'll take on the veteran right-hander Adam Wainwright.

Wainwright has allowed a .243 ISO and wOBA of .446 to 330 batters this season. Over the last 30 days, he's allowed a .261 ISO and wOBA of .490 to 77 batters.

Wainwright hasn't even averaged 70 pitches in his last few starts for the Cardinals. He's also struck out only 14.3% of batters in the previous 30 days.

Brandon Nimmo has hit a .189 ISO and wOBA of .361 against his last 64 righties. He's also struck out only 17.2% of the time.

On the other hand, Francisco Lindor has slugged a .197 ISO and wOBA of .402 against his last 74 righties. He's also limited strikeouts to 20.3%.

Lastly, Pete Alonso has hit a .329 ISO and wOBA of .409 against his last 84 righties. Like Nimmo and Lindor, Alonso has limited strikeouts to under 20% against righties.

Let's back those three Mets against the washed-up veteran.
