The second game we are diving into on the diamond this evening takes us back to Texas for an inter-league clash between two of this year's division leaders, the Texas Rangers out of the American League West and the Milwaukee Brewers out of the National League Central. Both squads head into the game having dropped their previous clash, so both are looking to get back on track with a win here tonight.

Texas Rangers vs. Milwaukee Brewers Prediction
Texas is the best squad in the American League at the moment and has kept things rolling hot post-all-star break. They got the day off yesterday, so head into this one rested with one of the best arms in their rotation since deGrom went down, taking the bump for them tonight, Andrew Heaney.
The Southpaw is 9-6 with a 4.17 ERA on the season; however, he is sporting a sub-0.75 ERA this month, and the Rangers have won his last four starts in a row. It is hard for me not to back this squad on a line like this, and although the Brewers are hungry to bounce back, too, they have a tougher task.
The Los Angeles Dodgers just swept Milwaukee, and nothing gets any easier tonight. They go from facing a juggernaut from the National League on West Coast for a late game across the country to face a Juggernaut from the American League. They did not have a rest day and lost two hours of sleep in the process. Brandon Woodruff is an excellent starter but has not thrown a lot this season and is still facing an elite Texas lineup.
