Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Sunday

We've gone 8-1 with our last nine strikeout props. A lot of bettors dislike the middle or end of an MLB season. Not me. I have all the data to help make the best decisions and bets possible. Here are three more strikeout props for today's slate of games.

August 20 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Dallas Keuchel Under 3.5 Ks (-144) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Dallas Keuchel has faced 36 batters this season. He hasn't struck out a single one. Instead, he's allowed a .474 wOAB to those 36 batters, throwing an average of 61.5 pitches per start. The Pirates' projected lineup has struck out 26.3% of the time against lefties. However, only three batters have struck out more than 23.3% of the time. Keuchel won't go deep, and he won't earn four strikeouts.

Carlos Carrasco Under 3.5 Ks (+124) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

I'll bite. Carlos Carrasco has struck out 14.6% of batters over the last month and 16.1% throughout the season. He'll take on a projected Cardinals lineup that has struck out just 15.3% of the time against righties over the last month. Only two batters have struck out more than 22.5% against righties. Carrasco has allowed a .205 ISO and wOBA of .452 over the last 30 days and has only thrown 71.6 pitches per start in the previous month. Give me that plus money and take the Under.

Jordan Lyles Under 4.5 Ks (-140) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Jordan Lyles has allowed a .316 ISO and wOBA of .423 over the last month, despite throwing 95.4 pitches per start. The Royals just casually let Lyles pitch when he's getting rocked. That's why his strikeout prop is a bit higher. But the Cubs have struck out under 20% of the time against righties over the last month. This projected lineup has also hit a .235 ISO and wOBA of .397 against righties the previous month. Meanwhile, Lyles has struck out 14.4% in the last 30 days. That's down from 16.3% on the season. I don't trust Lyles. You shouldn't either.
