If you've enjoyed the Little League World Series, you'll enjoy tonight's baseball action. The Phillies and Nationals will participate in the Little League Classic for Sunday Night Baseball. Meanwhile, due to Hurricane Hillary, many of the West Coast games scheduled for today were played yesterday. Still, the Orioles and Athletics will be featured on ESPN+, another game we can watch. Here are a few same-game parlays to consider for today's shortened slate.
MLB Same-Game Parlays for Sunday
Orioles vs. Athletics Same-Game Parlay
3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+417) (Bet $100 to collect $517) via FanDuel
- Adley Rutschman Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
- Ryan Mountcastle Over 1.5 Total Bases (-145)
- Cedric Mullins Over .5 Hits (-165)
The Oakland Athletics will pitch JP Sears for today's finale against the Orioles. Sears is a left-handed pitcher, allowing a .229 ISO and wOBA of .403 to his last 119 batters. Lefties have hit him extremely hard, launching a .562 ISO and wOBA of .590 last month. Therefore, Cedric Mullins, who has a .167 ISO against lefties in the previous 30 days, has an advantage. He should at least get a hit. On the other hand, Sears has also allowed a .212 ISO and wOBA of .314 to 445 righties this season. Adley Rutschman and Ryan Mountcastle have been scorching hot against lefties over the last month. Rutschman has smacked a .346 ISO and wOBA of .547, while Mountcastle has slugged a .355 ISO and wOBA of .504. Those two should be 1-and-2 in the order and will likely get five at-bats, if not more.
Phillies vs. Nationals Same-Game Parlay
3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+469) (Bet $100 to collect $569) via FanDuel
- Zack Wheeler Under 6.5 K's (-130)
- Bryce Harper Over 1.5 Total Bases (-145)
- Bryson Stott Over 1.5 Total Bases (-125)
The Nationals should have six lefties in tonight's lineup against Zack Wheeler and the Phillies. Wheeler has only struck out 17.6% of lefties over the last month and has struck out just 21.5% of lefties this season. Wheeler's bread-and-butter is against righties. Meanwhile, the Nationals have just three righties in the lineup and have struck out under 20% of the time over the last month against righties. On the other hand, Trevor Williams will get the call for the Nationals. Williams has been rocked recently, allowing a .361 ISO and wOBA of .472 to his last 92 batters. He's struggled against lefties and righties. But those lefties in the Philadelphia order have been consistent against righties. I'm talking about Bryce Harper, who has hit a .239 ISO and wOBA of .364 against his last 77 righties. I'm also talking about Bryson Stott, who has hit a .200 ISO with a wOBA of .352. Stott has struck out just 13.3% of the time against righties in the last month.
