The second play we are diving into on the diamond here tonight is a money line parlay I am digging. There are two squads riding into fresh series off of entirely different waves of momentum, but I really like both of them to go out and get the job done for us tonight.
MLB Parlay Tonight
Leg 1: Chicago White Sox vs. Seattle Mariners
Seattle has won six straight games and is coming off of one of the most important series they have played all season, and they demolished the Astros. Seattle had a chance to go into Houston and take some games off the advantage Houston held over them, and they did exactly that with a sweep of their division rivals. They are now just one game back from Houston and head into this game chasing that playoff spot with some real momentum.
On the flip side, Chicago is 3-7 across their last ten and 49-75 on the year in what has been a massively disappointing season for the White Sox. Touki Toussaint has the ball for the Sox with a history of injuries and just three-ish innings of work on the season to go along with his 4.47 ERA and 1.45 WHIP. Luis Castillo has had a not-great inning in almost every outing since the all-star break but is still 9-7 with a solid 3.23 ERA.
Leg 2: Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Texas Rangers
I do not think we need to overanalyze this one, and I just do not see Texas dropping five straight games. They are too good offensively to keep getting out hit, and tonight they send one of the best arms they have to the bump, Jordan Montgomery. Monty has a 3.30 ERA on the year and a 1.24 WHIP on the season, and since joining Texas, he has been excellent. The Diamondbacks do not hit lefties too well and are throwing a bullpen game themselves.
