This bet feels like good value. Fading Noah Syndergaard has been a profitable method nearly all year, and let's hope he’s the gift that keeps on giving here tonight.
Cleveland Guardians vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction
Bobby Miller, who has been a stud, is on the mound for us. In seven road outings, he holds a 2.19 ERA and gets a nice matchup against a Cleveland team that hasn’t been hitting too well. In Miller's last two starts, he has pitched 12 innings, allowed just five hits, and, most importantly, just one run.
To win this bet, we need some run support, and I think we should. Guys like Freddie Freeman and J.D. Martinez have incredible lifetime numbers against Syndergaard. I’m sure there is the revenge narrative that Noah will want his payback against the Dodgers, who moved on from him, but that doesn’t mean that will be the reality of the situation.
Syndergaard has a 6.57 ERA and has allowed five ER in two of his last three starts. The Dodgers are a team you can bring anything less than your a-game against. Let's hope the better team gets the early lead and doesn’t look back. Let's roll!
