Well, we have a solid slate here on this fine Wednesday with a lot of games kicking off earlier for travel purposes, so we are going to attack the evening MLB slate today. I want to kick off our night with my favorite moneyline parlay of the night.
MLB Parlay Tonight
Leg 1: Cleveland Guardians vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
Los Angeles ruined our parlay yesterday, so naturally, we are going to go right back to them here tonight. Clayton Kershaw has the ball, and after a very underwhelming 2021 season, the veteran 35-year-old has looked like the three-time Cy Young Award winner and ten-time all-star looks much more like the dominant Southpaw we all know so well.
Kershaw is 11-4 with a 2.48 ERA on the year through a little over 100 innings of work, and he has really looked comfortable lately. Cleveland stole a game from Los Angeles out of nowhere yesterday, and this Dodgers squad is very rarely out-hit. I like a bounce back from one of baseball's elite squads tonight with a solid arm on the bump for them.
Leg 2: Tampa Bay Rays vs. Colorado Rockies
The second leg takes us to South Florida as the Tampa Bay Rays host the Colorado Rockies, and these teams are trending in totally opposite directions. Colorado is 29 games under .500 and has conceded 37 runs in their last five games alone.
Tampa Bay has been very quiet, almost treading water, if you will, since the all-star break. They had such a phenomenal start to the season they seemed to just be coasting along for a while; however, I like the momentum they have tonight. The bats are going again, as they have scored 51 runs across their last five games alone. They are mashing right now, and I am riding with the Rays.
