MLB Player Props Today - Wednesday's Guardians vs. Dodgers Ladder Play

I like Mookie Betts a lot today. He comes into this game going for 2+ hits in seven of the last nine games. When Mookie goes for 2+ hits, he has 3+ total bases in 15 of the last 19 games. Additionally, he has gone for 3+ Total Bases in 10 of the last 15 games and 3+ total bases in five of the last six road games.

He will see the righty Xzavion Curry today, who I think he will be able to have a lot of success against. Curry is a reverse splits guy, allowing worse numbers to right-handed batters than lefties this season. He is allowing a .265 AVG and a .232 ISO to righties.

Curry ranks in the 14th percentile in expected AVG and expected SLG and ranks in the 9th percentile in Hard Hit %. His top two pitches to right-handed batters are his 4-seam fastball and slider both of which Mookie hits well against righties.

Mookie has .320/.319 AVGs and .329/.377 ISOs to these two pitches (versus RHP). There are great hitting conditions in Cleveland today, with the wind blowing out, which also makes me like this ladder even more. I think there is a great chance Betts gets multiple hits, with at least one of them going for extra bases, so that is why I am laddering his total bases up to 5+.
