I’m taking a shot on Eloy Jimenez tonight to drive in some runs against Ken Waldichuk and the Oakland Athletics. Waldichuk is a great pitcher to target when it comes to hitting props, especially when he pitches on the road. On the road, he owns a 7.29 ERA and a 1.84 WHIP and is also allowing a .296 AVG and a .232 ISO.
While Eloy hasn’t been hitting like he was earlier this season, he still has a hit in three of his last four games and has driven in three RBIs over his last six home games. This total sits at ten on most sportsbooks, which implies that there will be some runs scored today. With that, I’m expecting multiple opportunities where Eloy will have at-bats with runners in scoring positions.
