The second wager we are going to dive into tonight takes us to the diamond as the Baltimore Orioles host the Colorado Rockies in the first game of this weekend's series. This will be an inter-league matchup between two squads having very different seasons, and likewise, I expect to see entirely different performances from these two squads as well.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Colorado Rockies Prediction
Baltimore holds a one-game lead over the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League's most competitive division this year, the AL East. With four teams at about .500 and three squads at 70+, the division title is nowhere near settled, and Tampa Bay is on their heels.
With that said, this O's squad seems to not only care about that pressure, but I think they thrive on it. Early in the year, I was already in love with this squad, and a young, talented group began to find their identity, but when they started to get talked about and tested consistently, they did not back down. They actually stepped on the throttle and overtook the Rays for first after they seemed uncatchable earlier in the year.
Cold-blooded.
Tonight, they are home at Camden Yards, where they have been excellent this season, and they face an arm that I expect them to be able to mash. Kyle Freehand has been brutal this season at 5-13 with a 5.02 ERA. Freehand is 1-9 on the road with an ERA closer to seven this month. I am fading the team 30 games under .500 and going with the squad 30 games over .500 tonight.
