Edouard Julien has hit a .250 ISO and wOBA of .393 against righties last month. He's a left-handed batter, batting lead-off, and will face Kevin Gausman of the Blue Jays today. Gausman has watched his last 51 lefties hit a .227 ISO and wOBA of .364. He's also allowed nearly 29% of fly balls and has induced just 35.7% of ground balls against lefties over the last 30 days. Gausman's an ace pitcher. But he's struggled against lefties. Let's take a shot at Julien to hit one out. He'll have at least four opportunities.

Brandon Pfaadt will take the mound for the Diamondbacks tonight. This could get very sour very fast. Pfaadt is a rookie pitcher pitching in Game 1 of the Wild Card series. There will be a lot of pressure on the rookie to perform at a high level. I'd be worried as an Arizona fan. The rookie right-hander has been better lately. But he's still allowed a .268 ISO and wOBA of .410 to his last 72 righties. Willy Adames is a righty hitting a .222 ISO and wOBA of .365 against his last 78 righties. He's also hit nearly 30% of fly balls and line drives while hitting 45.5% of hard contact against righties. Take Adames to go yard.

The Phillies' right-handed bats have a whole lot of potential tonight. I'm talking about Trea Turner, Alec Bohm, J.T. Realmuto, and Nick Castellanos. All four of those guys have power potential against Jesus Luzardo tonight. Luzardo is a left-handed pitcher who allowed a .188 ISO and wOBA of .333 to 563 righties this season. That's not entirely bad, but those numbers are below average. Meanwhile, those four righties have way above-average stats over the last month against lefties. Alec Bohm's numbers stand out the most. He's hit a .455 ISO and wOBA of .368, with only 13% of strikeouts against lefties in the last 30 days. Give him a shot to go long tonight.
