Toronto Blue Jays vs. Minnesota Twins Betting Pick: Which Side Should We Be Betting On?
Although Kevin Gausman had a career year, playoff baseball is a different animal. The Twins are looking to break an 18-game losing streak in the postseason. Oddsmakers are showing the Twins some serious respect, making them a favorite against one of the best pitchers in baseball. Will we see some postseason magic with the Twins potentially ending their postseason slide?

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Minnesota Twins Prediction
Pablo Lopez has become the new ace of this underrated Twins lineup. After coming over from Miami, it took Lopez a little while to settle in. He has pitched like an ace in the second half of the season and should carry that momentum into this series.
Kevin Gausman enters the postseason coming off back-to-back shutouts against the Yankees. I was baffled when I saw Minnesota open up the betting favorite in this spot against Gausman. Although both Gausman and Lopez have been dominant for the majority of the second half, Lopez gave up 3 runs to the Athletics and Angels in his last two starts, and 5 runs in Chicago (CWS) before that. Like I said before, oddsmakers are showing the Twins some serious respect with this line.
Although the Blue Jays’ lineup might look better than Minnesota's on paper, I give the edge to the Twins, one of the best offenses at home in all of baseball. Minnesota also enters this game winning 7 of their last 10 games, unlike the Blue Jays who enter postseason play on a bit of a skid. To be fair, Toronto really hasn’t put it together all season. They have big names, but the results haven’t been there. This Twins team is the opposite, not a lot of big names, but they put up runs at home. Back the hotter team with the home-field advantage tonight.
Bet the Twins on the moneyline before the odds get any juicier. Their 18-game losing streak ends this afternoon, at home with their ace on the mound. The Twins have seen Gausman a decent amount, but Toronto only has two hitters in their lineup with experience against Lopez. The Twins have an edge in their lineup, and bullpen, and I’m willing to bet Lopez out-pitches Gausman this afternoon.
