Best MLB Home Run Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Wednesday's Wild Card Games
In Game 2, we've got better pitchers taking the mound than in Game 1.
At least, that's what the analytics say.
But I've still found a couple of spots to attack. Here are three home run props to consider with today's MLB Postseason slate.
October 4 Best MLB Home Run Props
Isaac Paredes to Hit a Home Run (+470) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Isaac Paredes is one of the only consistent right-handed bats against other righties in the Rays lineup.
Tampa Bay is facing Nathan Eovaldi, who has struggled over the last 30 days. Eovaldi has allowed a .367 ISO and wOBA of .508 to his previous 58 righties.
This season, he's given up a .188 ISO and wOBA of .336 to 315 righties, which is still below average.
He'll take on Isaac Paredes, who has smacked a .281 ISO and wOBA of .371 against his last 68 righties. Paredes has hit 60% of hard contact and has minimized his ground balls to 40% over the previous month against righties.
Take a shot on Paredes today.
Corey Seager to Hit a Home Run (+340) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
I'll stay in the same game.
Corey Seager has ripped a .338 ISO and wOBA of .392 against his last 78 righties. He's also struck out just 11.5% of the time in the previous month against righties.
Seager will face Zach Eflin of the Rays, who has allowed a .200 ISO and wOBA of .311 against his last 58 lefties.
Eflin has been excellent this season. But over the last month, lefties have hit him well. He's allowed over 51% of hard contact and nearly 27% of line drive contact to lefties in that period.
Seager shows up in the postseason. He'll continue to be clutch today.
Matt Wallner to Hit a Home Run (+370) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
The Blue Jays will pitch Jose Berrios for tonight's matchup.
Berrios has been incredible against righties throughout the season. But lefties have hit a .189 ISO and wOBA of .337 this season.
Over the last month, Berrios has watched lefties hit a .231 ISO in 54 at-bats. So he's giving up power to lefties.
The Twins have plenty of lefties that can do damage tonight. But the one that stands out the most is Matt Wallner. Wallner has slugged a .288 ISO and wOBA of .456 against his last 69 righties.
He's also hit 28.2% of line drives and fly balls and 71.8% of hard contact.
