Miami Marlins vs. Philadelphia Phillies Prediction: Can Aaron Nola, Phillies Take Game 2?
Well we split our plays on the diamond yesterday and instead of toying around here today I am just going with my lone favorite play on the card for our write up play here tonight. The Miami Marlins are down 1-0 with the series on the line after Philadelphia took care of business in a comfortable 4-1 victory last night in the City of Brotherly Love.

Miami Marlins vs. Philadelphia Phillies Prediction
Aaron Nola has the ball and he has always thrown the ball better at home than he has on the road. In line with that, this Zack Wheeler and Nola duo, just like the superstar hitters on the team, love living up to these playoff moments and thrive off that home crowd energy.
Nola has seen these Miami hitters plenty and on a very large sample size of 152 at bats, he has a K/BB split of 37/7 to go along with holding them to a lowly .224/.263/.412 slash line. This season he has a sub one WHIP at home and is about to clash with a team that could not really string anything together in game one and now face a lot of pressure with their season on the line.
On the flip side, Braxton Garrett is quite honestly the only starting pitcher going in any game today that has historically struggled against the team he faces. This Phillies lineup is slashing .353/.397/.652 for a 1.049 OPS on 68 at bats and they are coming off of a game in which every guy in the lineup had a hit. The Phillies have all the momentum here and should put this series away tonight.
