Adolis Garcia has slugged a .391 ISO and wOBA of .422 against his last 71 righties. He'll take on Christian Javier of the Astros, who has allowed a .178 ISO to 322 righties this season. While Javier has been better against righties over the last month, he's still allowed 41.2% of fly balls with just 11.8% of ground balls induced in the previous 30 days to righties. Garcia has hit 27.9% of fly balls and line drives with 62.8% of hard contact against righties. He's in line for a couple of high-fly balls to the outfield. One or two should get out.

Let's see if the rookie can come through. Evan Carter has hit a .500 ISO and wOBA of .560 against his last 58 righties. Again, he'll face Christian Javier of the Astros, who has allowed a .194 ISO and wOBA of .353 to 387 lefties this season. Javier has allowed 41.7% of fly balls in the last month to lefties. He's also induced just 29.2% of ground balls. Meanwhile, Carter has hit 63.9% of hard contact and a barrel percentage of 11.1%. He's got plenty of potential tonight.

Yordan Alvarez has smacked a .522 ISO and wOBA of .502 against his last 51 righties. He'll face Max Scherzer of the Rangers, who hasn't thrown in an MLB game in five weeks. Scherzer was never great this season. This year, he allowed a .174 ISO and wOBA of .312 to 324 batters. The right-hander also gave up 33.7% of fly balls, with only 33.2% of ground balls induced. Nobody is expecting Scherzer to go incredibly deep in this game. But Alvarez should get at least two plate appearances against Scherzer. He's got a great matchup. So let's take him to hit a home run tonight.
