Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Friday's Conference Games

We had three no-sweat winners with our strikeout props last night.

Brandon Pfaadt and Ranger Suarez were dealing after we grabbed their overs in strikeouts. Meanwhile, Jose Urquidy struggled to get high strikeouts when we took his Under.

That's cash in our pockets. Let's do some more of that with the two conference series matchups in the MLB Postseason tonight.

October 20 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Justin Verlander Over 4.5 Ks (-160) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Justin Verlander hasn't added a ton of strikeouts this season. He's only struck out 21.5% of batters this year.

However, in the last 30 days, Verlander has struck out 24.5% of batters. He's also used to the pressure of playing in big moments like an ALCS Game 5, with the series tied 2-2.

I didn't say he was dominant in those games throughout his career. He has the experience!

Joking aside, Verlander will face a Rangers lineup with three batters striking out at least 25.4% of the time over the last month against righties. Verlander took on this Rangers club and earned five strikeouts in 6.2 innings.

That would be enough to earn the Over in this game. He also had six strikeouts in six innings against the Twins earlier in the postseason. I'll grab his Over.

Jordan Montgomery Over 3.5 Ks (-158) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Jordan Montgomery has been sensational for the Rangers when they most needed it. The Rangers are 3-0 in Montgomery starts in the postseason, thanks to the left-hander's 2.08 ERA through 17.1 innings in three games.

Montgomery has also struck out 13 batters in those 17.1 innings and allowed 20 hits.

Montgomery will likely allow more hits in tonight's game. But he's also struck out at least five batters in games where he throws at least six innings in the postseason.

The lefty isn't getting high strikeouts. But he's going deep into games, thanks to his low ISO and wOBA numbers. Like Verlander, four strikeouts shouldn't be an issue if he can get through five or six innings.

Christopher Sanchez Over 2.5 Ks (-165) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

I love these low numbers.

Christopher Sanchez won't be pulled quickly. He's a solid pitcher who earned 24.2% of strikeouts throughout the season this year.

Sanchez earned 33.8% of strikeouts against lefties this season. However, he's only facing one lefty in Corbin Carroll. Carroll has struck out only 6.7% of the time. Therefore, Sanchez will need at least three strikeouts against righties most likely.

Against righties, Sanchez has earned 23% of whiffs and 11.3% of swinging strikes. That number increased over his last month before the postseason. He'll have three targets to earn those three strikeouts against.

Gabriel Moreno has struck out 25% of the time against lefties, while Evan Longoria has struck out 33.3% in the last 30 days. Finally, Geraldo Perdomo has also struck out 25% of the time in the previous month against lefties.

If Sanchez can get through five innings, he might face those three batters twice each. That should be more than enough for him to get to three strikeouts.
