Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers Prediction
Texas took the first two games in Houston to jump out to a commanding 2-0 lead. Houston responded by taking the last two games on the road in Texas.
It is needless to say how important this game is tonight.
Houston jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first yesterday. Texas would chip away and even things up, heading to the top of the fourth.
A three-run home run by Jose Abreu gave the Astros a 7-3 lead, and they never looked back. Houston would go on to win the game 10-3.
The Astros bats have been red hot as of late. Houston has scored 18 runs in the last two games.
Houston will send the reigning Cy Young champion to the mound, Justin Verlander. Verlander pitched 6.2 innings, allowing two runs, but suffered the loss in Game 1.
Opposing Verlander will be Southpaw Jordan Montgomery. Montgomery has been stellar in the playoffs with a record of 2-0 and an ERA of 2.08
