Texas Rangers vs. Houston Astros Prediction
There is good news for Texas regardless, they will know who is going to the World Series from their state by midnight. Win and the Astros return to the World Series with a chance to defend their title, lose and the Texas Rangers have their first chance at becoming world champions since they lost in seven games to the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011.
After Texas was able to keep the Houston bats quiet in Games 1 and 3, Houston was able to rip off three straight wins to take all of the wind out of their sails and place themselves firmly back into the drive seat until Texas lit them up last night. The game was closer than the box score suggests but the grand slam late by Adolis Garcia sealed it. We have seen a plethora of offense from both squads all throughout thus series and for that reason, I will bite on this total one last time.
The moneyline in my eyes is a pick 'em; both teams are elite, both have earned it, both can win it. We have now seen a minimum of nine runs in each of the last five games between these squads with three going over by solid margins including last night. With the series on the line, I do not expect a low scoring affair regardless of how willingly these teams empty the tanks on the bullpens. Houston bounces back from low scoring affairs well and Texas is raking, I'll take the runs.
