Philadelphia Phillies Zack Wheeler

Philadelphia Phillies vs. St Louis Cardinals Prediction: Can Zack Wheeler, Phillies Excel in St. Louis?

The St. Louis Cardinals will take on the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday evening in an NL battle. Can Zack Wheeler find his groove early and dominate for the Phillies on the road? Josh Gayle is backing Wheeler in his Phillies vs. Cardinals parlay prop pick.

This is my favorite NRSI of the day. We get to likely avoid studs like Harper, Goldy, Turner and Schwarber. With some 1st inning help from St. Louis bats, we could avoid Arenado too. This game has a 7.5 total which is always a good sign.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. St Louis Cardinals Prediction

This is a beautiful pitching matchup. On the mound for St. Louis is Sonny Gray. He is returning from a Spring Training injury and will be on a pitch limit, but I’m expecting him to have his elite stuff as always. Against Philly last year, he went six innings and allowed no runs on just two hits. We just need three clean outs.

More importantly we need Wheeler to do well. Wheeler dominates the St. Louis bats as they are only 19-93 against him, which is good for a .204 average. Wheeler has one earned run against him throughout 12 innings, we need three clean outs from him in the 2nd and for that bullpen to do their job keeping this one close. Philly has lost by 4+ already this year but that was against Atlanta, I fear them much more than St. Louis. This game has a low total and Philly are slight favorites, unless the bullpen pitches horribly again, I see this one staying close. Let's roll!
