April 11 Best MLB Strikeout Props

JP Sears Under 4.5 Ks (+114) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Oakland's left-handed pitcher, JP Sears, has thrown just 4.5% of strikeouts against 44 batters in two starts this season.

Last year, he only struck out 21.9% of batters, which was still a below-average number.

Sears is expected to face a Rangers projected lineup that has just three players who have struck out more than 22.2% of the time against lefties since last year.

Meanwhile, Sears has given up a .316 ISO and wOBA of .429 and has earned 21.6% of ground balls while allowing 32.4% of line drives and 37.8% of fly balls. With those numbers, Sears won't last very long in Texas. Take the Under.

Ranger Suarez Under 5.5 Ks (-115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

In two starts this season, Ranger Suarez has struck out 26.8% of batters. However, five of his 11 strikeouts have come against left-handed batters.

Unfortunately for Suarez, the Pirates figure to have just one left-handed batter in tonight's lineup against Suarez. With Suarez only earning 19.4% of strikeouts against righties, it's unlikely he'll be able to achieve six strikeouts against Pittsburgh.

After all, Pittsburgh has only three batters who have struck out more than 22% of the time against lefties since last year. He's only got three targets and has never been known for having a high rate of strikeouts in his career.

Let's back the Under for Suarez as well.

Grayson Rodriguez Over 5.5 Ks (-162) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Grayson Rodriguez has had an awesome start to the season this year. Rodriguez is already 2-0 with a 2.19 ERA in two starts. He's also struck out 16 batters in 12.1 innings and has a WHIP of 1.05.

Rodriguez has ultimately struck out 32.7% of batters faced and has limited walks to 6.1%.

He's in line to face a Red Sox lineup that has struck out 24% of the time against righties since last year. Only Rafael Devers and Masataka Yoshida have struck out under 23.8% of the time against righties. Therefore, Rodriguez has seven legitimate targets for strikeouts against Boston tonight.
