A very rare for me higher than 1 unit. We are doubling up today as I absolutely love this play. These are two of the most trustworthy pitchers in the league to back and these offenses don’t strike much fear into me.
Minnesota Twins vs. Detroit Tigers Prediction
Tarik Skubal is on the mound for Detroit and he looks like he is going to take the next step into becoming an elite ace. His last start got bad near the end and he was visibly frustrated, he’s holding himself to a high standard and I would be absolutely shocked to see him not bounce back against this Twins offense he has success with in the past. The only way I see this losing is if Byron Buxton bats fourth and he gets a clean first inning.
On the mound for Minnesota is Pablo Lopez. He pitches really well against Detroit historically. Last year in his last start against Detroit, he went seven scoreless innings. I expect him to continue his dominance and keep the bats quiet. In 61 at bats, this Tigers roster has never homered off of him so it’s likely if he blows it that he would have to be a rally.
This game a 7.5 run total and two elite pitchers. I was about to play this same bet at -135 yesterday and now it’s even better odds. I like the Twins u6.5 Team Total because I anticipate this game being close and I trust Jason Foley, Shelby Miller, Alex Lange, and Andrew Chafin in a competitive ball game alongside the Tigers' ace. Let's roll baby!
