Closing out our week with some Sunday night baseball. Tonight, we head back to Dodger Stadium for the rubber match between divisional rivals as the San Diego Padres (8-9) clash with the Los Angeles Dodgers (11-6) in one of the best head-to-head matchups we have seen over the last few years. Dating back to the start of the decade, Dodgers-Padres has been incredibly entertaining and one of my favorite rivalry matchups we get to see.

San Diego Padres vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction
Los Angeles led 7-3 quite comfortably Friday night before allowing San Diego to get back in the game and eventually steal the opener 8-7. Last night after a two hour weather delay, the Dodgers evened up the series. The bats were really quiet by the standards of these offenses but I like them to get things going here tonight.
Yu Darvish generally has success against the Dodgers, but they smacked him around in his first start of the season and he has struggled a bit this year. Darvish has not been going deep into games, and has conceded seven earned runs over his last 10 innings pitched. On the flip side, James Paxton has really struggled against this Padres lineup in his career conceding 18 hits on 51 at bats; the friars are slashing .353/.377/.704 and sporting a lovely 1.082 OPS.
It really doesn't take much for either offense to get rolling and they feed off each other. We saw on Friday no lead is safe, I expect runs and I think we see both offenses swing the sticks here tonight.
