Monday day game! Man I love baseball season, not only do we get to bet during the day we get a lovely little distraction from whatever it is we are supposed to be doing and hey, I think we deserve it. To kick off our week, we head to Fenway Park as the Cleveland Guardians (9-5) visit the Boston Red Sox (8-7) and I like this spot for the home team.

Really rough start to the 2024 campaign for Boston. Losing Trevor Story is genuinely sad, he is not only a superstar in the game and crucial part of Bostons lineup but a guy who has just been plagued with injuries. I really like the way he plays the game, he deserves better luck than this but I digress, the season just started and Boston still needs to find a way to go on without him.
Luckily for them, guys like Tyler O'Nelll have stepped up (hello six bombs already!) and they send a man who is surprisingly crushing it to the mound here. Kutter Crawford was a fade for me often over the last few years of my betting career but man I am going to trust him here.
Through 15 and 2/3's innings pitched, he is sporting a stellar 0.57 ERA with 18 K's while allowing just seven hits. The expected slash line against is .135/.199/.199. Early start time really benefits the Sox here in my opinion; they are rested and sleeping at home while the Guardians are traveling after an extra inning game Sunday. I will take the home favorites in a favorable spot.
