MLB PARLAY PICK TODAY: MONDAY'S MLB HIT PARLAY FROM CALLING OUR SHOT

Welcome back to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. After going 5-0 our first week of the season, last week brought it's own share of challenges. This week, we go for glory (aka 5-0). If this is your first time, welcome aboard. Let's dive in.

MONDAY'S HIT PARLAY

LEG 1: BRYAN REYNOLDS (PIT) TO RECORD A HIT

Our first leg of the hit parlay: Bryan Reynolds. Reynolds and the Pirates are on the road taking on the Mets today. Our favorite system for backing players in this parlay is targeting hitters coming off a hitless game. Reynolds fits this system as he went 0-5 at the plate yesterday even though he’s still batting .254 on the season. Reynolds gets to face a former divisional rival pitcher today in Adrian Houser. Against Houser, Reynolds is a career 6-21 batting .286. Reynolds is due a bounce back game today and it starts with a hit in New York. He will cash this first leg for us. Go do your job, Bryan.

LEG 2: KETEL MARTE (ARI) TO RECORD A HIT

Our second leg of this hit parlay: Ketel Marte. This is his first time making the hit parlay this season...which is our fault. Ketel has been great this year. Welcome to the parlay...but here's why we like him.

Marte and the Dbacks start a series against the Cubs at home today. Ketel Marte had a rare hitless game yesterday going 0-3 with a walk. Marte is a great hitter at home batting .317 this season. Marte faces Ben Brown and the Cubs. Brown likely won’t pitch too deep into this game but Marte should still have his chances to hit the righty. Marte is hitting .310 against righties as a switch hitter and should see several righties in Brown and the Cubs bullpen. Take us home Ketel!
