Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Tuesday

After a 2-1 day yesterday, let's keep the momentum going with three more strikeout props for tonight's MLB slate.

With 15 games and 30 starters, there are plenty of bets to choose from!

April 16 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Carlos Rodon Under 4.5 Ks (+118) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Through 69 plate appearances, Carlos Rodon has only earned 18.8% of strikeouts to begin the year. He's also watched 52 righties hit an ISO of .196 and wOBA of .352 while only inducing 32.4% of ground balls.

Rodon is in line to face a Toronto lineup that should have eight righties. As a lineup, the Blue Jays have only struck out 17.4% of the time against lefties since last season.

There are really only two targets for Rodon, between Davis Schneider and Isiah Kiner-Falefa.

Rodon has also struck out just 17.3% of righties this season. Even last year, against 236 righties, he added only 21.2% of strikeouts and allowed a lot of power and guys to get on base.

Therefore, let's back the Under 4.5 at +118.

Tanner Bibee Under 5.5 Ks (-108) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Tanner Bibee has struggled against lefties this season. He's already faced 40 lefties and has earned just 17.5% of strikeouts. In addition, he's given up a .303 ISO and wOBA of .464, with 15% of walks to lefties.

His matchup against the Red Sox isn't ideal. The Red Sox will have eight lefties in the lineup against Bibee tonight.

While Boston has struck out 24.5% of the time against righties since last season, Boston also has six batters who have hit a high ISO and wOBA against righties as well.

Asking for six strikeouts from Bibee is too much.

Wade Miley Under 3.5 Ks (-164) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Wade Miley returned to the mound for the Brewers last week. He pitched against 14 batters and earned no strikeouts.

He wasn't bad. He still held those 14 batters to a .000 ISO and wOBA of .214 with 54.5% of grounders.

However, he still threw 52 pitches and didn't earn a single strikeout.

Tonight, the strikeouts won't be there, either. Miley's stats might also blow up. Miley is facing a Padres lineup that absolutely destroys lefties. The Padres have hit a .237 ISO and wOBA of .408 against lefties since last year.

This same lineup has also struck out just 18% of the time. Only Jake Cronenowrth and Eguy Rosario have struck out at a high rate against lefties since last season. However, Rosario only has 23 plate appearances against lefties, so it's not a massive sample size there.
