This is my favorite pick for FanDuel's Dinger Tuesday Promo today! I think the matchup is great for Edouard Julien who has been crushing the ball as of late.
Julien has three home runs in his last eight games and has six home runs in 85 plate appearances against right-handed pitching this season. He is in the 96th percentile in barrel percentage this season and gets a great matchup against Michael Soroka, a pitcher he has already seen once this season.
Against Soroka last game, he had three plate appearances, one of them ending in a home run. He put the ball in play three times with 105 MPH exit velocity (home run) and 89.2 and 89.2 the other two times. All three baseballs were hit over 309 feet with great launch angles.
Soroka has already allowed seven home runs this season and is in the fourth percentile in expected slugging percentage allowed this season. I expect him to allow at least one home run tonight and think it may come from Julien once again.
