Riley Greene has been one of the only consistent hitters for the Tigers this season. Detroit's facing Triston McKenzie of the Guardians, who lefties have obliterated to begin the season.
McKenzie has allowed a .200 ISO and wOBA of .347 with 32.7% of fly balls and 29.1% of ground balls induced.
Meanwhile, Riley Greene has smashed a .203 ISO and wOBA of .375 against his last 437 righties faced. Greene has also hit 30.3% of line drives with 52.2% of hard contact and a 13.5% barrel percentage.
Greene's barrel percentage is the highest on the Tigers against righties since last year.

Bryse Wilson will pitch for the Brewers. The Milwaukee righty has already allowed a .355 ISO and a .381 wOBA to his first 35 lefties.
It won't get easier against the Royals' lineup with many powerful lefties, including Vinnie Pasquantino, Michael Massey, and MJ Melendez.

Alex Wood will man the mound for the Athletics tonight. Wood has already given up a .231 ISO and wOBA of .423 to righties as a left-handed pitcher this year. Wood has also induced only 32.4% of ground balls and has allowed 28.2% of fly balls to righties this season.
In addition, Wood has struck out a below-average 20.2% of righties this season.
He'll have to face off against Adolis Garcia of the Rangers, who has smacked a .264 ISO and wOBA of .387 against lefties since last season.
Garcia has hit a 14.7% barrel percentage to lead the team against lefties. He's also added a 55.2% hard contact rate against lefties with 32.8% of fly balls.
It's hard to hit home runs in Oakland. But Garcia has all the potential in the world against Alex Wood tonight.
