I’m not a big fan of what the Giants are building out in San Francisco with their ball club, but I do like Kyle Harrison. He is one of the more promising young lefties in the game right now. Coming off two great starts against the Pirates and Red Sox, I like his chances against this struggling Rockies lineup.
Dakota Hudson, the former Cardinals starter, is still looking for his first win of the season. He’s currently 0-5 with a 5.93 ERA, but he is coming off the best start of his season against the Marlins. Tonight’s assignment will be much tougher against this Giants lineup in Coors Field…
Instead of backing either of these teams struggling bullpens, let’s isolate the F5 innings of this game tonight. I want to back the Giants with Kyle Harrison in the game, and want nothing to do with their shaky bullpen. Instead, let’s fade Dakota Hudson, one of the worst starting pitchers in baseball, pitching in the most hitter-friendly ballpark in MLB.
You can grab the Giants on the runline through the F5 innings at (-120) on most books. Lock this in before the odds gets any juicier. I like Kyle Harrison’s chances against this struggling Rockies lineup and San Francisco needs a win badly after getting swept in Philly. I like this spot for their offense to bounce back.
