Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. I hope you all had a great weekend. We've done very well on these hit parlays this season. Let's hope this week is no different. We have a themed parlay...which means this is 100% cashing. See what I mean below.
MONDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: JOSE RAMIREZ (CLE) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Jose Ramirez. Yesterday, Mr. Ramirez had a day to forget, going 0-4 at the plate. He put the balls in play, but couldn’t get them to drop. Today, I like that to change against Tylor Megill and the Mets.
Megill throws three main pitches: 4-Seam, Slider and Changeup, all three of which Jose Ramirez hits well, a .250+ Batting Average against each pitch. Megill is also returning back from injury, so I don’t expect him to be dialed in, painting location. Today, we root for both Jose’s.
LEG 2: JOSE ALTUVE (HOU) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Jose Altuve. A Jose hit parlay? Count me in. Altuve and the Astros face off against the Angels today.
Today, his matchup is against Reid Detmers and the Angels. Detmers loves to miss location, and when he does that, I expect Altuve to make him pay. He has a great history against Detmers as well.
At home, Altuve is hitting a ridiculous .339 this season. Against lefties, Altuve is hitting .275 this season. Batting leadoff in front of Alvarez and Tucker, Altuve will see plenty of pitches to hit. Altuve is on a seven game hit streak and he will make it eight for us today!
